Best Uses

  • Commercial landscape projects
  • Replacing thin, bare or damaged turf
  • Repairing larger lawn areas
  • Fast curb-appeal improvements

Before Installation

  • Complete all soil preparation before the sod arrives.
  • Remove weeds, debris, rocks and old damaged turf.
  • Loosen and grade the soil to create an even planting surface.
  • Add quality topsoil where needed and establish proper drainage.
  • Install sod immediately after pickup or delivery.
  • Do not allow rolled sod to remain stacked in direct sun or heat.

Installation & Watering

  • Lay the rolls tightly together without overlapping the edges.
  • Stagger adjoining seams in a brick-like pattern.
  • Begin watering immediately after each installation section is completed.
  • Water thoroughly so the sod and soil underneath are evenly moist.
  • Keep the sod consistently moist during the initial rooting period without creating standing water.
  • Check frequently during hot, dry or windy weather because new sod can dry quickly.
  • Avoid heavy foot traffic until the sod has rooted securely.
  • Adjust watering as roots develop and local weather conditions change.
